For community members interested in attending field trips associated with the IAVCEI 2017 meeting in Portland, we wish to call your attention to the following deadlines. Early bird registration for the conference and registration for all workshops field trips will close on June 1. After June 1, registration for field trips will be on a case-by-case basis if leaders have space to accommodate additional participants. But please note that owing to needs to inform some lodging vendors of final room tallies, registration for the following two pre-meeting trips will close on May 1:
Trip A4: Mammoth Mountain, Long Valley Caldera, and the Bishop Tuff.
Trip A10: Volcanism and its interaction with snow and ice at Mount Rainier.
