The impact of volcanism in Hawai’i and Oceana has been significant both in its cultural impacts and for volcanological science – consider a contribution to:
Session T21: Geoarchaeology finds special significance for deciphering physical processes notable impact on anthropogenic cultures in both in prehistoric and historic times – these are critical for understanding our future. This merge of geology and archaeology, combined with cultural factors (legends, chants, etc.), defines this session with focus on Hawai‘i and the Pacific Basin.
