The 4th VERTIGO workshop will be held from Sunday 21st through Friday 26th May 2017 on São Miguel island (Azores, Portugal). As usual, we invite external PhD and Post-Doc students to apply for participation. Please note that VERTIGO is “only” covering the expenses on São Miguel, not the travel arrangement to Ponta Delgada airport. If accepted, external students are expected to attend the entire workshop and present a poster during the poster sessions. If you are interested, please send your CV and a letter of interest to info@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx until 5 February 2017. The successful applicants will be informed by mid-February.
The program will be composed by three days of scientific presentations, complemented by one field day visiting sites of active degassing and outcrops concerning volcanic soil formation and a 2-day workshop on grant proposal writing.
