The Geology Department at Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA is recruiting a stable isotope geologist to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will enhance our existing strengths in geoscience teaching and research by developing new courses and research avenues in stable isotope geochemistry applied to any of a diverse range of geoscience problems. About the Department: The Geology Department has 14 faculty, offering BA, BS and MS programs in Geology, Geophysics, and Science Education, serving 200 majors. The department has strengths in field and lab based teaching and research in geomorphology, igneous petrology, geophysics, hydrogeology and environmental/engineering geology, planetary geology, sedimentology, science education, and structure/tectonics.
