A reminder that abstracts for the 2016 IRIS Workshop are due next week Monday (May 2nd).  Submit your abstract today by clicking the ‘Abstract’ tab on the IRIS Workshop page: www.iris.edu/irisworkshop

The 2016 IRIS Workshop theme is ‘Emerging Fields and Technologies in Seismology’, and will take place June 8-10 in Vancouver, WA. All Plenary Sessions and Special Interest Groups (SIGs) Meetings are finalized and have been placed on the Workshop page under the ‘Info’ tab.

Registration & Hotel deadlines approaching.  Hotel registration deadline is Friday, May 13th, and Workshop registration closes Friday, May 27th.  Visit the Workshop website and reserve your spot today!

Field Trip: Join us for a visit to Mt. St. Helens, Tuesday, June 7 12-7 PM, led by Dr. Seth Moran (Scientist-in-Charge, Cascade Volcano Observatory)
Cost: $50 
Spots are limited, so sign-up today on the IRIS Workshop page under the ‘Field Trip’ tab!
Can’t make it to the field trip? Consider taking a free tour of the operational facilities of the Loowit Brewing Company (directly across the street from the conference hotel) at 4:30 PM on Tuesday, June 7
