Dear colleagues,

The Spanish Association
Volcanes de Canarias is working on a new section called "Scientific Columns" for our web www.volcanesdecanarias.com , a free and open space for researchers related to earth sciences and other natural phenomena to showcase their research or to share experiences and lessons learned on the management of the risks of their science.

Rules of general interest:

- Participants must belong to scientific groups or related to volcanology, earth sciences and atmospheric phenomena and/or management of other natural areas.
- The subject of the article / material will be free.
- Authors should clearly state name, position, qualification, institution and email contact.
- Publication will be free and voluntary: there will not be financial consideration for publications.
- Articles or materials submitted will become part of a public record and author and / or authors will be clearly specified.

Volcanes de Canarias will not be responsible or/and will not share those opinions or information reflected in articles.

Volcanes de Canarias may reject those items which are not of sufficient quality . Materials with offensive information will not be accepted.
- The official language of disclosure of the materials is Spanish. For other languages will be required a summary in Spanish by the author. The translation is not guaranteed.

Rules on articles or materials:

- Author/authors may submit articles and materials in the following formats: text (articles, abstracts, etc.), posters, explanatory videos, computer graphics or photos (with accompanying explanation).
- To assist in the informative nature the association advise to send a short text-summary of the content that helps the reader to know the value of the contribution.
- Extension: Free. Overly extensive work should be divided into series.
- Participants assume full responsibility for the images, data and / or opinions made explicit in materials.

Materials should be sent to the email volcanesdecanarias@xxxxxxxxx (High resolution (15MB maximum)).

Volcanes de Canarias is the first citizen association in Spain created to disclose the volcanology and to mitigate natural hazards, liaising between the scientific community and society. To learn more about Volcanes de Canarias we invite you to visit our website.
