Dear all,
Sinabung volcano in northern Sumatra continues to slowly extrude a viscous lava dome with currently two active lobes spilling over to the SE and S side, generating dangerous pyroclastic flows.
We visited the volcano during 24-28 July to document its activity: pyroclastic flows, the lava dome, and pyroclastic surge / flow damage from earlier episodes in the ongoing eruption.
For those interested, the material can be found at:

Kind regards,
Tom Pfeiffer
