The Hawaiian Volcano Observatory is advertising for a permanent seismic analyst position. The successful candidate will process volcanic and non-volcanic earthquakes occurring in Hawaii and will aid in the interpretation of seismic activity. Depending on their skill set, an individual in this position may also have programming tasks to aid in interpretation and analysis of earthquake swarms.
Situated
on the edge of the Kilauea Caldera, the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory is
a multidisciplinary group of scientists responsible for the assessment
of volcanic and seismic hazards within the Hawaiian Islands.
