Dear Colleagues,

We would like to draw your attention to the Conference “Our Dynamic Earth” organized by SIMP-AIV-SGI-SoGeI that will be held in Florence, 2-4 September 2015, and in particular to the session:

P11 – Estimating time and rates in volcanic processes

Convenors: Diego Perugini (Univ. Perugia), Massimo Pompilio (INGV Pisa), Claudia Romano (Univ. Roma Tre)

Session description: Volcanic eruptions are natural eventstiming and rates of volcanic processes using different approaches including experimental petrology/volcanology, geochemistry of rocks and minerals, and volcano monitoring. Contributions focused on cooling time of pyroclastic deposits and lava flows, eruption rates, time scale of magma chamber dynamics and magma ascent, are encouraged.

Deadline to submit abstracts @ (http://www.pianetadinamico.it) is May 16.

We look forward to seeing you in Florence.
