The group of volcanology and magmatic petrology at ETH Zurich is looking for motivated MSc students. Several projects are available (see website http://www.erdw.ethz.ch/education/master/master_thesis/MScThemenGeochPetro).

The international application period, compulsory for students who require a visa or for those applying to a scholarship, starts November 1st and ends December 15th.

The Bologna application period for students who do not require a visa starts March 1st and ends April 15th.

Example of a project: LA-ICPMS U/Pb zircon dating of large volcanic deposits and their associated plutons, Southern Rocky Mountain Volcanic field, Colorado, USA.
