IAVCEI support for the AIV International School “The peralkaline magmatism at Pantelleria”
Dear colleagues,
This is to inform you that the IAVCEI has generously given some financial support to promote the attendance of postgraduate students in the International School of volcanology “The peralkaline magmatism at Pantelleria”. The school is organised by the Italian Association of Volcanology and will be held from September 28 to October 1 in Pantelleria (Trapani, Italy) (info at www.aivulc.it).
Funding is destined to cover part of the travel expenses and/or the school fees. Preference will be given to applicants from developing countries.
Should you wish to apply, please send an E-mail to landi@xxxxxxxxxx and to silvio.rotolo@xxxxxxxx, stating your current position and the reasons for asking the financial support. Please also attach a brief CV.
Registration is possible until August 15.
Applicants who receive the grants will be reimbursed when they arrive in Pantelleria, thus they should be able to anticipate all costs.
