Dear Colleagues:

We would like to draw your attention to Topical Session T216: Cenozoic Magmatism and Volcanism in the North American Cordillera that will be a part of the technical program at the Fall 2014 Annual Meeting of the Geological Society of America, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The meeting dates are October 19-22, 2014.

Please consider submitting an abstract to our session.  The abstract submission deadline is Tuesday 11:59 p.m., Pacific Time, 29 July 2014.

More information about the meeting can be found on the GSA web page: http://www.geosociety.org/meetings/ and information about abstract submission can be found here: http://www.geosociety.org/meetings/2014/sessions/topical.asp?CatID=Volcanology&submit=Go (remember to scroll down the page as there are several interesting volcano-magmatism sessions!)

Topical Session T216: Cenozoic Magmatism and Volcanism in the North American CordilleraGSA Mineralogy, Geochemistry, Petrology, and Volcanology Division

This session will highlight recent advances in our understanding of connections between tectonics, lithospheric structure, and magma generation from studies of Cenozoic volcanism in the North American Cordillera.
