in the
Methods of Investigation in Active Volcanoes
Universidad de Rio Negro (Argentina) invites applications for students to participate to an International Course in the fields of the Volcanology, Explotation of Geothermal Resources and Earth Sciences. Classes and fieldtrips are given by an International (from Argentina and Italy) group of researchers with the main aim to provide information on geological, geochemical and geophysical methods of investigation in active volcanoes for monitoring purposes and for the evaluation of the geothermal potential.
The course will be held in Caviahue (Argentina), at the feet of Copahue volcano, and have a duration of 8 days (from 5 to 13 March 2014), including 3 days of fieldtrip. Post course activity at Domuyo volcano (Argentina) will be organized from 14 to 17 March 2014.
