The
Atmospheric Dispersion and Air Quality Team at the UK Met Office is
recruiting. This follows the recent promotion of the team to a new
Strategic Area in the Met Office Weather Science programme. We are
looking for two scientists and a science manager to work on the
development and application of the NAME dispersion model and support the
UK Met Office's role as both a VAAC and as a WMO Regional Specialised
Meteorological Centre (RSMC) for radiological events.
All posts will work on a wide range of research, development and
application challenges to improve the quality of our dispersion
modelling capabilities, optimise our capabilities and maintain our
status as a global leader in dispersion modelling.
