USGS Mendenhall postdoc fellowships - application deadline is September 20, 2013
************************************************************************************************
The next cycle of the USGS
Mendenhall Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program provides several
opportunities relevant for those interested in the broad area of volcanology.
Information on the program, including qualification and application
procedures can be found at http://geology.usgs.gov/postdoc/
In order
to be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have successfully
completed a Ph.D. in an area described in the Research Opportunity no earlier
than September 20, 2008. The Federal Government gives strong priority to U.S.
citizens and nationals, but for these two-year positions, noncitizens
may be considered under certain circumstances.
The research proposal is the most important part of the application
package, and applicants are strongly urged to coordinate the development of the
proposal with the appropriate Research Advisors.
