Hello all,

Please consider submitting an abstract to the upcoming session "Recent Advances and Applications of Isotope Geochemistry and Geochronology to Ore Deposit Studies” (T98) at the GSA Annual Meeting, Denver, CO (27-30 October 2013): http://community.geosociety.org/2013AnnualMeeting/Home

This session is co-sponsored by the Geochemical Society, the Society of Economic Geologists, GSA Mineralogy, Geochemistry, Petrology, and Volcanology Division, and the Mineralogical Society of America

Research on ore deposits is becoming increasingly important as society relies on technology that utilizes deposit resources. This session will highlight all aspects of ore deposit formation, with an emphasis on contemporary approaches utilizing geochronology and isotope analyses.

Invited Speakers: Holly Stein (Colorado State), Bill Hames (Auburn), Andy Wall (U.S. Dept. of Energy)

The abstract deadline is August 6th.

Thank you,
Matt Brueseke (Kansas State)
George Kamenov (Florida)
Ryan Mathur (Juniata)
Jim Saunders (Auburn)
