NH003 session description:

Recent disasters in the Asia-Pacific region highlighted the importance of scientific research on disaster risks and risk management. Researches on the mitigation of risks caused by disasters like earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions will be discussed in the session. Geological hazard risk research, management and mitigation activities, international collaborations, sharing of resources, international standards, hazard maps and earthquakes and volcanic eruptions risks information processing are welcome in this G-EVER session.
