Dear Volcanologists,

This is Maja Klempner emailing you again from Discovery Channel Canada's flagship science and technology show, Daily Planet. About a week ago, I sent out an email to the Volcano List to find out if anybody is working on (Anak) Krakatau research this summer. I've had several great responses! So THANK YOU! :)

I also very interested to find out if anyone (or if you know of any colleagues) is working on studying VOLCANIC BOMBS, either by collecting them as part of field research, or making volcanic bombs in a lab experiment to study them anytime between now and the 3rd week of August 2013?

We are looking for research activities that we can film for our "natural hazards" theme week that is going to air on Discovery Channel Canada in September. Our segments are 5-7 minute long, and focus on "science in action."

It would be great hearing from you ASAP if you or any of your colleagues have any exciting volcanic bombs research up your sleeve!

Also, if you are working on anything else that is highly visual and exciting, think it would be a perfect fit for the Discovery Channel, or if it involves cutting-edge technology to conduct your research, we would love to hear from you! So please feel free to email me.

Thank you,
Maja
