Dear all,

On the 3rd and 4th of September, 2013, the University of Bristol-BHP Billiton Porphyry Copper Deposit group is hosting a special, informal workshop led by Dr Richard Henley from the Australian National University.

Dick Henley has maintained a leadership role for over 40 years in developing our modern understanding of ore deposits in volcanic settings. In this interactive workshop he will present the results of ongoing work down-under that is revealing some astonishing new insights into the understanding of volcanic systems as well as the metal deposits that evolve within them.

More information, including how to register, can be found on the website: http://bristolpcd.org/events/

Thank you,
Emma
