Volcano Remote sensing at UAF-GI transitioning to V-ADAPT
************************************************************************************************
Dear All,
As we announced last month, with the cessation of all funds for volcano remote sensing at UAF/GI as part of AVO, the efficacy of monitoring in the North Pacific has been severely compromised. In response, UAF is forming a start-up company, V-ADAPT, to provide the information and tools to assess and respond to volcanic hazards directly to our colleagues, customers and students.
We will be transitioning from the old site, http://avo.images.alaska.edu to our new web address for the project at http://v-adapt.images.alaska.edu. The Puff website will remain at its current address, http://puff.images.alaska.edu, but access to all of the tools is now password protected.
To subscribe to the tools, the storefront will be at www.v-adapt.com, or email us at vadapts@xxxxxxxxx.
Thanks again for all your support, we look forward to providing state of the art tools to make travel safer for all.
Sincerely,
Jon Dehn & Peter Webley
