Dear volcano modellers,
We would like to draw your attention to a workshop on quantitative deformation analysis in analogue tectonic and volcanology models, which will take place at GFZ Potsdam on 23-24 September this year. This methodological workshop consists of two sessions, one on observation methods, the second on quantitative deformation analysis.
Please consider submitting an abstract for a poster focusing on the observation methods you apply in your models. In case of sufficient interest, the workshop will be followed by a short course on Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) for new users given by Karen Leever.
Invited speakers include Jürgen Adam, RHU London; Olivier Galland, U. Oslo; Sebastien Leprince, Caltech; Nestor Cardozo, U. Stavanger and Saad Haq, Purdue.
