Special issue of NHESS on Volcanic Risks

Dear Colleagues,
As one of the conclusion of the FP7 European Project MIAVITA (Mitiagate and Assess Volcanic Impacts on Terrain and human Activities), we are organizing a special issue in Natural Hazards and Earth System Science: “Approaches and methods to improve risk management in volcanic areas”.

The initial optimistic deadline for submission has been postponed to 30 May. However, please note that you can submit the papers before the deadline: they will be managed by the guest editors as soon as they are submitted.
In addition to papers already being prepared, we welcome new ideas/proposals. Please do not hesitate to contact any of the guest-editors if you have any questions/ideas related to this special issue.
