Hello everyone,
Please consider submitting an abstract to the upcoming session "Subduction-Related Mantle Preparation and Subsequent Magmatism and Ore Genesis" (T38) at the GSA Annual Meeting in Charlotte, NC, November 4-7, 2012. This session is co-sponsored by the Society of Economic Geologists.
This session explores how subduction at convergent plate boundaries enriches the overlying lithospheric mantle with volatiles and metal(loids)that are easily incorporated into late- or post-subduction magma- and ore-forming processes.
We are very interested in soliciting abstracts that deal with all aspects of the session themes and encourage abstract submission by students. The abstract submission site is now open (https://gsa.confex.com/gsa/2012AM/cfp.epl) and will close August 14, 2012.
