geologist. In the broad sense, we hope to bring in a petrologist
(igneous or metamorphic) or geochemist whose research involves some

Department of Earth Sciences at Brock University invites applications

The Department (www.brocku.ca/mathematics-science/departments-and-centres/earthsciences) offers B.Sc. degrees in Earth Sciences and Environmental
Geoscience and a M.Sc. degree in Earth Sciences.

Qualifications:
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Earth
Sciences or a related discipline, and should demonstrate successful
teaching experience. Applicants are expected to teach at both the
undergraduate and graduate levels and to develop and
maintain a thriving, externally funded, research program. The
successful applicant will also take on the task of putting together a
course-based masters program in economic geology.

documentation that outlines the candidate’s teaching experience and
