Title: 3-Year Limited Term Appointment in Economic Geology

The Department of Earth Sciences at Brock University invites applications for a 3-year Limited Term Appointment in the area of Economic Geology or related fields. Close contacts with the mining industry will be considered an asset. Applications will be considered at the Assistant Professor level from individuals with post-doctoral experience. 

The Department (www.brocku.ca/mathematics-science/departments-and-centres/earthsciences) offers B.Sc. degrees in Earth Sciences and Environmental Geoscience and a M.Sc. degree in Earth Sciences.

Qualifications:
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Earth Sciences or a related discipline, and should demonstrate successful teaching experience. Applicants are expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and to develop and maintain a thriving, externally funded, research program. The successful applicant will also take on the task of putting together a course-based masters program in economic geology.
