Call for papers – JVGR Special Issue MAGMA SYSTEM RESPONSE TO VOLCANO SECTOR COLLAPSE
Dear colleagues,
We would like to invite contributions to the JVGR special issue MAGMA SYSTEM RESPONSE TO VOLCANO SECTOR COLLAPSE (Guest Editors: Pavel Izbekov, John Eichelberger, Evgenii Gordeev, Jeff Freymueller, and Michael West; Editor-in-Chief: Malcolm Rutherford). A number of authors have committed to submitting papers focusing on Bezymianny volcano in Kamchatka. In addition, we would welcome all relevant submissions on similar volcanic systems, e.g. Mount St. Helens, Montserrat, and Shiveluch, presenting recent findings or/and reviews. Contributions from all disciplines are welcome, although those employing synthesis of multi-disciplinary studies would be particularly invited.
The submission deadline is December 31, 2011. Manuscripts can be submitted electronically through the main portal of the JVGR at http://ees.elsevier.com/volgeo/default.asp. For inclusion into the special issue authors have to select “Special Issue: Bezymianny” when they reach the “Choose Article Type” step.
