1-year post-doctoral position in magmatic processes is available in the department of Earth and Spaces Sciences at the University of Washington, starting September 1st, 2011. The salary would be $48K plus benefits. We are seeking applicants with a PhD, who are interested in physical and geochemical processes occurring in magma reservoirs. This scientist will be part of a dynamic research group with several faculty members, post-docs and graduate students. This person would also have the opportunity to work on their own project(s) part of the time and would be encouraged to submit proposals to support new projects.
