IUGG 2011 Scientific Workshops

We are please to announce that the workshops listed below are now open for registration as part of the IUGG 2011 General Assembly. Information about these workshops, including fees, can be found on the IUGG 2011 website www.iugg2011.com under 'Program & Abstracts', then 'Workshops'. You can register for these workshops when you register for IUGG 2011 using the online registration form. If you have already registered for IUGG 2011 then you can re-enter your record using the Access Key provided to you initially and edit it by adding workshops.
IAVCEI delegates are most welcome to attend the general IUGG pre-Assembly workshop:
W01: The Greatest Natural Disasters of our Times, 26-27 June, (2 days)
The following three IAVCEI workshops will be held on the Friday before the start of IAVCEI symposia:
VW01: VHub cyberinfrastructure for volcanology - modeling, data sharing, and collaboration, July 1 (1 day)
VW02: Ground-based and remote sensing of volcanic unrest, July 1 (1 day)
VW03: Workshop of the Volcanic Ash Fall Impacts Working Group, July 1 (0.5 day)
The following joint IAVCEI-IAMAS workshop will be held after IAVCEI symposia:
V-MJW01: Eyjafjallajökull, volcanic clouds, and aviation - one year on, July 8 – 9 (1.5 days)
The following joint IASPEI-IAGA-IAVCEI workshop will be held during the first week of IUGG 2011:
S-A-VJW01: GPlates Shortcourse, June 29 (1 day)
