Dear colleagues,

Please consider sending an abstract to the following session of the 2011 European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assemble to be held in Vienna during 3-8 April:

NH2.5/GMPV39: Mitigating risk to aviation through better understanding of volcanic plumes and clouds  convened by Matthew Watson and Arnau Folch.

Instructions for submission of abstracts (deadline 10 January 2011) can be found at http://meetings.copernicus.org/egu2011/

Contributions related to reduction of risk to aircraft from volcanic ash and aerosols including risk managers, engineers/manufacturers, volcanologists, remote sensors and atmospheric transport modelers are warmly welcome.
