If you are an undergrad, post-grad or post-doc who is interested in geodynamics, mantle petrology, geochemistry and/or diamonds then this workshop is for you. The workshop is also of interest to economic
geologists who need a compendium of the basics and latest advances in diamond science.
The workshop is hosted at the University of Padua, Bressanone-Brixen (Italian Alps) on February 21 – 26, 2011.Co-organized by THE DEPARTMENT OF GEOSCIENCES, UNIVERSITY OF PADUA and THE DEPARTMENT OF EARTH SCIENCES, UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF LONDON
The invited speakers are among the most eminent scientists in the field (Contact Fabrizio Nestola at fabrizio.nestola@xxxxxxxx for a pdf flyer).
The committee is making all efforts to keep registration fees as low as possible. As the number of participants will be limited (indicatively 50),
pre-registrations are strongly encouraged. The second circular with definitive school program and details on final registration, fees and payments will be issued by the end of September.
This is a follow up workshop to the very successful 2009 school entitled 'HP-HT mineral Physics: implications for geosciences' organised by Italian Mineralogical National Group GNM and hosted in Bressanone - Brixen by
