Dear Jonathan, Rodney, and Volcano Listserv members,
VOGRIPA is an international project with several partners that has been running for over 3 years now and the Smithsonian Institute (and the GVP) is already a major partner in VOGRIPA. The VOGRIPA and GVP databases have different objectives and we have been working closely with Lee Siebert to make sure databases are complementary and compatible. VOGRIPA is also formally endorsed by IAVCEI and the UN/World Bank GRIP programme.
