CoV6 Session: 3.2 Volcanoes and geothermal energy

Dear Sirs:
As main convenor of the Session 3.2: Volcanoes and geothermal energy, I
would like to invite you to submit an abstract for this session and to
participate actively on the congress Cities on Volcanoes 6 to be celebrated
from 31st of May to 4th of June in El Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, Canary
Islands.
Session 3.2. will be focused on the development of geothermal energy
projects in volcanic environments; from early exploration through
production, including aspects like institutional and public support,
environmental protection, and different views of the sustainability of the
geothermal resources.
Abstracts can be submitted via e-mail

February 28, 2010. Please follow the instructions of the abstract format

It is recommended that the text be prepared beforehand to ensure the
following requirements are met (i) no more than 300 words and (ii) no
figures or tables. Please remember that an abstract cannot be edited after
the deadline. Please also note that incomplete abstracts might not be
accepted. A confirmation notice of the abstract submission will be sent to
you automatically by e-mail. The scientific committee and session conveners
will make all decisions on abstract acceptance, session numbers and style of
presentation, giving due consideration to contributors' preferences. Results
will be sent to contributors by e-mail by the end of March 2010.
We are a little in a rush, we would need you presenting your abstracts
contributions no later than the 28th of February if you want more detailed
