Dear colleagues, The 33rd International Symposium on Remote Sensing of Environment is pleased to welcome ISPRS Working Group 1-1, Airborne Science, which will convene its initial meeting as an adjunct to the Symposium. Subcommittees of the GEOSS Program will also meet during the symposium. The Program Committee has extended the abstract submission deadline from November 1 to December 1, 2008. The notification for abstract acceptance is December 19, 2008. The organizing and technical program committees will meet on December 5, 2008 to prepare the preliminary program for the symposium for worldwide distribution on January 1, 2008. We urge you to submit your abstracts in time to be included in the preliminary program.
