*Full Time Non-Tenure Track Position-Geological Sciences, Central
Washington University *

The Department of Geological Sciences at Central Washington University
invites applications for a 9-month, non-tenure track instructor
position from September 16, 2008 to June 15, 2009. Responsibilities
include teaching introductory geology courses for non-majors, plus a
combination of some of the courses from the following list:
Environmental Geology and Natural Hazards, Geomorphology,
Hydrogeology, Geochemistry, and introductory classes in the
Environmental Studies/Sciences program. A Master's Degree in
Geological Sciences or a closely allied field is required. A PhD in
Geological Sciences or a closely allied field and experience teaching
at the university level are preferred.

The Department is composed of dynamic and enthusiastic faculty who
maintain diverse research programs in which undergraduate and M.S.
students participate. Central Washington University is located in
Ellensburg, population 15,000, which provides one of the finest living
environments in the Pacific Northwest.
