Dear Colleagues,

I would like to draw your attention to the deadline of 29th February
2008 to register for Field Excursion No.6:

"Faroe Islands - The volcanic and sedimentary evolution of the
Palaeogene Faroe Islands Basalt Group"

which has been organised as part of the 33rd International Geological
Congress, 6-14th August 2008, Oslo, Norway.

The excursion will be post-conference and will commence from Oslo on
Friday, 15th August 2008, with departure from Oslo Airport at 06:15.
The group will fly to the Faroe Islands via Denmark.
The trip will end on Friday, 22nd August 2008 with departures from
Vágar Airport at 08:15, to Oslo via Copenhagen, Denmark.

The excursion has been heavily subsidised by Statoil Færøyene and will
cost €350 including the return airfare Oslo-Copenhagen-Faroe Islands.

The excursion is limited to a maximum of 20 people.
