***************************************** Announcement: Time Lapse Photos of Villarrica Volcano From: Werner Keller <Soporte@xxxxxxx> ***************************************** The Villarrica Volcano Visual Observation Proyect (POVI), southern Andes of Chile, has published the first time-lapse movies created from still images taken by a time-lapse ccd camera system located 9 km NE from the crater. The system started its operation on September 2nd, 2006; and takes pictures from the summit every 10 seconds.
