GOMA VOLCANO OBSERVATORY
Since October 26th, 20h00 LT, the Goma Volcano Observatory is recording
a sustained activity in the Virunga area.
An important swarm of magmatic events (long period) is located around
volcano Nyamulagira and is still persistent on November 27th, 17h00.
According to these precursory signals, a new eruption of volcano
Nyamulagira is very likely.
GVO confirms there is no population at risk with an eruption from this
volcano.
Monitoring is permanent and GVO will send further messages in case of
any change in the situation.
