Rheology of Rocks and Minerals ? Geophysical Imaging of Earth¹s Interior ? Dynamic Modeling of Earth¹s Mantle ? Isotope and Trace Element Geochemistry ? Cosmochemistry and Meteoritics ? Evolution of the Atmosphere and Oceans Interested candidates in related areas are also encouraged to apply. The university is embarking on an investment plan to ensure the pre-eminence of GEMOC, the National Key Centre for the Geochemical Evolution and Metallogeny of Continents (www.es.mq.edu.au/GEMOC/). Its success stems from an interdisciplinary approach to understanding the way the Earth works, integrating the traditional disciplines of geochemistry, geophysics, geodynamics and tectonics.
