Gregg <tgregg@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> The editors of JVGR have approved the proposal for a special issue "Volcanic Flows and Falls: A Special Volume to Honor Prof. Michael F. Sheridan's Career." Many of the papers we hope to include in this issue were presented at a conference with the same title, held at the University at Buffalo in May, 2006. I am inviting your participation in this special issue. The deadline for submitting a manuscript to me, as guest editor of this volume, is Sept. 1, 2006. I will then farm the manuscripts out for review, requesting that the reviews be completed within 4 weeks. Authors will then have 4 weeks to revise and resubmit the manuscript. This is a tight time-frame, but assures that we'll have cutting-edge results published in a timely manner.
