Huuray for Ben. As in: hip hip huuray. I think linux+.1Q+netfilter are one of the most important developments in the last decade for home appliances. About every router uses .1Q, so Ben must be proud :-). > Does anyone want me to keep this list going, or should we just fold it into > netdev? Well, I loved the low traffic, but it's insane to think we can discuss .1Q without knowing or talking with netdev. There is one thing however: the vlan user space package. I reckon Patrick is going to maintain that. But as a package maintainer: how do we reach Patrick for patches upstream? My co-maintainer at debian set up a vlan repository at alioth.debian.org to concert our efforts of packaging (he does the stable line, and actually makes sure that it doesn't violate debian policy, and I usually add new features to the package, like a working mvconfig structure). If necessary Patrick can also continue maintaining at alioth. I must admit that I still don't have an alioth account, so it is an intent to maintain :-). Anyway: Ben, thanx for making my live a lot more wonderful. _______________________________________________ Vlan mailing list Vlan@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.candelatech.com/mailman/listinfo/vlan
