The bridging code handles tagged packets, yes.

Please try the e100 driver instead, it does not need patching to
support VLANs.

Also, I do not clearly understand your configuration. Please just
specify the different ip, vconfig and brctl commands used on router A
and B, and tell us how you have connected them. (Please don't forget
IP address assignment.)
