[VLAN] Can 802.1q and PXE/DHCP/TFTPBOOT work together?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Sorry for asking the question again if it has already been asked...

I would like to know if I can have a PXE/DHCP/TFTPBOOT server that is not on a 802.1q configured port on a Cisco 2948 switch, but still be able to respond to PXE/DHCP/TFTPBOOT requests from a client that are connected to 802.1q configured ports.

I want to be able to PXE boot the box, get initrd's and configure the interface to be 802.1q while it is coming up.

Thanks in advance for any help...

Steven
