[VLAN] kernel panic

Yo!

Admittedly it's silliness, but I tried it anyway...

$ mii-tool eth1.10

--> instant kernel panic

System recovers and runs normally after, though, and only has problems later 
when VLAN interfaces should be taken down at shutdown.


This is kernel 2.6.8 (with Debian patches), on a via_rhine card.


I lack the time and skill to debug this, but (I'm guessing here) it might be 
both easy to reproduce and relatively easy to fix.
