I recently sent the addition of the "rolling" release status to osinfo-db/libosinfo: https://www.redhat.com/archives/libosinfo/2019-February/msg00078.html Once the above patch series is accepted, virt-manager can tweak its EOL detection: if a distro has no EOL date set, then always consider it supported. This way, existing rolling distros (e.g. Gentoo, Arch Linux, etc) are always show when searching for a distro without enabling the EOLed distros; OTOH, if a rolling distro is discontinued, adding a EOL date for it will hide it by default. RFC because of the dependency with another patch series which is still pending. Of course, comments on the approach (or even on that series) are welcome.
