Desktop vs Server vs Enterprise). This is something that libguestfs has long done, and the information is used by virt-v2v (although v2v only uses it for installed OSes, not for install images). Once installed, Windows has a field in the registry which distinguishes this case, and both RHEL and SLES have similar distinctions.
