Sorry for the inconvenience! But in general, this could happen if there's not enough GPU memory available, so the skin should check for a valid pixmap. For the next developer version of vdr, It also needs to query the maximal possible dimension prior creation, otherwise rpihddevice will then just return NULL if an oversized pixmap is requested.
