This mailing list, the freebsd multimedia mailing list, forums such as
vdr-portal, dvbn, and numerous others, irc channels, etc. all have
many users who compile VDR themselves. It's so absurd to deny it that
I'm forced to think you're just trolling with the outlandish claims
you keep making.

You must know how incredibly stupid that comment is. Anyone who thinks
otherwise should google "linux make install" and be careful not to
drown in the ocean of posts & messages they find. Please stop the
ridiculousness -- it's not like you've provided a single shred of
evidence, or a single person has taken your magical numbers &
assumptions as truth. Let's not waste more mailing list space with
this nonsense.
