I added this section but it didn't make any difference.I have now fixed it though by adding a new monitor for VGA-1 and setting "Ignore" to "true" in xorg.conf.
Thanks again for the help (wouldn't have found this if I hadn't started looking into Clone as you mentioned earlier in the thread!)
