Hi! Do you really mean DAVIC, as I read as much manuals as I could get, it seems, that DAVIC is a standard for MHP, or digital internet services with a back channel over cable modems. I found DVB-C and OpenCable as the two standards used in the US, and it seems that Comcast uses OpenCable, but I'm not sure. Are there some PC-Tunercards for OpenCable with CI Interface to record Comcast's digital programs with pc? And if which CAM would I need? Or a completly other direction, if not using vdr, how do americans record digital TV with their PCs, as I think of Windows Media Center software, or something else. For me it seems, that only a few people in the US use digital TV.
