[PATCH] find v4l device on kernel 2.6 (GRAB Problem)

I casually discovered that GRABbing is sometimes working sometimes not. I have a Nexus FF + an AverMedia DVB-T. 
No message in the log, just an empty grab image.
I should investigate if the problem resides on which card tunes first....
