sure, but this was the only way I knew to put this info also in the later 
recording summary.

ok, but is there any skin, that displays this info already? 
Atleast my info about the search timer, that triggered the timer/recording 
will not be visible anymore. What about an additional simple submenu in the 
summary menu of timers/recordings, e.g. called with the unused key 'blue' 
labeled 'Aux'.

I knew you would say this ;-) But most people use the development version as 
if it was already a release (it nearly is!) and if some addons don't work 
with it, they complain. But I agree with you, and with 1.4 things are getting 
simpler.
